West Midlands MEPs Mike Nattrass and Nikki Sinclaire have called on Prime Minister David Cameron to listen to the British people and hold a referendum on the UK’s continued membership of the EU.
UKIP MEP Mike Nattrass and independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire travelled to London last week to deliver a petition of 100,000 signatures in support the referendum campaign.

The petition, which was launched in the West Midlands by Nikki Sinclaire, was presented to Number 10 Downing Street last Thursday (September 8). Mike and Nikki were accompanied by likeminded MPs and MEPs to deliver the petition.
Kelvin Hopkins MP, Gordon Henderson MP, Trevor Colman MEP, Austin Mitchell MP, Nigel Dodds MP and Kate Hoey MP also attended last Thursday.
The petition raises the prospect of a Commons debate on Britain’s relationship with Europe.
Mike Nattrass, who has represented the people of the West Midlands since being elected in 2004, said: “I call on the Prime Minister to listen to the British people – it is time for a referendum and a Commons debate.
“The referendum campaign has received tremendous support, particularly in the West Midlands.”
Nikki Sinclaire said: “I would like to thank all those who have signed the petition. The huge response to the campaign shows most people want their say.
“This is an argument that has been going on far too long. We must have a referendum and the Government must abide by the result.”
